A California engineer has invented a device which he calls by the unpronounceable name above, that records the beating of the heart on a motionpicture film. It is said to take direct photographs of the heart in action revealing every slight pulsation or change in the organ. When this true heart throb" movie is flashed on tha screen physicians have an opportunity to study the heart with much greater care and precision than with the stethoscope, which records only the sound of the beating.
