NORTH-WANGANUI-NEW PLYMOUTH: On 2]sr, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 27th December, 2nd, 3rd, 4th January, usual 8.2 C a.m. Wellington-Palmerston North train runs through to Wanganui, arriving Wanganui 3.17 p.m. On the same dates the usual 3.43 p.m. Palmerston N.-Wellington train will start from Wanganui, leaving Wanganui 12.40 p.m. (on 2nd January train leaving New Plymouth 8.48 a.m. connects at Aramoho). On 21st, 24th December and 4th January relief express for New Plymouth leaves Wellington 10.7 a.m. connects at Palmerston North with express leaving Napier 8.20 a.m. Holiday Excursion tickets issued from stations Wellington to Turakina inclusive to stations Palmerston North to Fordell inclusive, will not be available by this train. On 21st, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 27th Decem her, 2nd, 3rd, 4th January, Holiday Excursion tickets issued from stations Wei) ington to Fordell inclusive to stations be tween Palmerston North and Wanganui, inclusive, will NOT be accepted on the ordinary UP Wellington-New Plymouth express; also on these dates Holiday Excursion tickets issued from stations' Wanganui to Feilding inclusive—on 2nd January those issued from New Plymouth to Feilding, inclusive (except to Wellington and the South Island), will NOT be available on the Down ordinary New Plj--mouth-Wellington express. On 21st, 24th December 4th January passengers from Palmerston North for Wanganui and stations North of Aramoho should travel by relief express leaving Palmerston North at 1.30 p.m. WELLINGTON-PALMERSTON NORTH-NAPIER. On 21st, 23rd, 24th December, 2nd, 3rd, 4th January, extra express trains leave Palmerston North for Napier at 12.5 p.m. (the 8.20 a.m. Wellington-Palmerston North train connects at Palmerston North on these dates). On the same dates extra express train leaves Napier for Palmerston North at 9.20 a.m., arriving Palmerston North 2.32 p.m. (On 2nd January runs through to Wellington, arriving Wellington 5.32 p.m.) On above dates the ordinary NapierWellington express will take passengers only for Longburn and stations beyond Longburn on Manawatu Line, and for Wairarapa line beyond Woodville, and beyond Palmerston North on the Palmerston North-Wanganui-New Plymouth line for stations at which the UP Well-ington-New Plymouth express stops. This train will not lift passengers at Paekakariki or Johns'onville, and will pick up South Island passengers at Shannon, Levin, and Otaki who are holders of combined rail and steamer tickets only. On 2nd January will also not lift holders of excursion tickets at stations Dannevirke to Palmerston North inclusive for Wellington, f On same dates the ordinary UP Well-ington-Napier express will not lift passengers between Palmerston North and Waipawa inclusive. Passengers holding through tickets from stations on-the Wanganui line (beyond Palmerston North) or from stations on Wairarajm line (beyond Woodville) may join this train at Palmerston North and -Woodville respectively. On 21st, 24th December and 4th January passengers for Palmerston North-Wanganui-New Plymouth should travel by relief express leaving Palmerston North 1.30 p.m. On 24th December extra express for Napier leaves Wellington 8.6 a.m. This tram takes passengers only for Palmerston North-Napier and intermediate stations. NIGHT TRAINS. 24th DECEMBER, 1929. On 24th December, night train for Wanganui and Napier leaves Wellington 11.0 p.m. Night trains for Wellington leave Napier 9.45 p.m. and Wanganui 11.45 p.m. NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS.
