BOARD

(By Telegraph.)

(Special to "The Evening Post")

DUNEDIN, This Day. Following upon the floods in the city in March last, the ptago Harbour Board was threatened with litigation by a number of persona who proposed to institute claims for compensation.

The first of these claims, that iv which M. Stevenson, Ltd., is seeking the recovery of £650 damages from the board, has been set down for hearing in the Supreme Court on Monday. It is understood, however, that negotiations which are proceeding between the parties are expected to result in a settlement, which will be satisfactory not only to both sides, but also to the public generally. It is also stated that a settlement in this case will affect claims amounting to approximately £13,000, which have been made against the board.

"Jack fell down and broke his crown . . . ," but what the children want to know is, what else would have happened to him if his pail had held three gallons of "Price's" Fruit Extract delicious flavoured Lime, made from a Is 6d bottle? All children love it, and all grocers soil it. Insist on ' Price's.''—Advt.
