JUDGE AWARDS DAMAGES

NAPIER, This Day.
Justice Ostler to-day delivered reserved judgment in a ease in wh^ch John "William M'Coy, a mining engineer of Auckland, claimed damages from the jAard Motor Services, Ltd., for injuries [received in a collision between a service car, in which the plaintiff was a [passenger, and a private car, near Dannevirkc.
His Honour held that the cause of the accident was the service driver's negligence, and awarded £1321 damages against the defendants.
C. W. Price and Co., 91, Dixon street, will sell a large safe, platform scales (5 cwt), and office fittings in the mart on Monday, commencing at 1.30 p.m.
