The Director-General o£ Health advised that the present arrangement in Taranaki whereby the Red Cross and the Departments nurses co-operate, could be continued for another year. Sir Heaton Rhodes was appointed the ivew Zealand delegate at the British Eed Cross Conference, to be held in London in May, J930, in the event of his being in England at the time. Misses "Murray and Nathan, the present delegates, had been informed of the arrangements made. The matter of purchasing a new motorcar for the West Coast district was left m the hands of the Canterbury Centre. Word has been received that Dr. Colquhoun will be arriving in New Zealand in January, and arrangements have been made to welcome him. It is possible that he will be in Wellington at the time of the annual meeting in March, and, if so he will be suitably eiitertaiiied. Accounts amounting to JJ2G 15s 9d were passed for payment.
