MAN ELECTROCUTED

DUNEDIN, This Day.
An electric linesman named Arthur Benton, a single man, aged 40, and residing in Dunedin, was engaged with two other workman yesterday afternoon at Maungahau, near Mosgiel, in putting a transmission line on to the main lino from Waipori to Dunedin, when ho was electrocuted. The new line was being hauled across the main line, which was carrying 35,000 volts. Tho deceased's hand apparently caino in contact with the bare wire.
