Helen Twelvetrees, jealous of Lois's popularity with tho students In general and David in particular, learns of a prank Lois has taken part in, and she threatens David that she will have her expelled unless he puts her-Helen-in the leading role of his number. In Ills desire to protect Lois David consents, and Lois, piqued, plays the lead in a rival number, "The Presentation " After playing in this number she discovers the trick Helen has played on her, goes to her dressingroom, and seizes her costume. David's entry wins the competition. Lois's prank is explained and forgiven, and the young lovera are happily reunited. The production includes excellent dancing, bright comedy, and some splendid singing. The supports Include the latest Clark and M'Cullocb comedy, "The Diplomats."
Reginald Denny, the raagnotlc young Englishman, was one of the most popular comedians of the silent screen, and now that the screen is no longer silent, ho is proving that he can still hold his own with the best of them. Denny's latest starring role is in "Embarrassing Moments," the all-talking Universal comedy-drama that is booked to commence screening at the Majestic Theatre on Friday and in it Denny is said to have ample scope to provide all the mirth that ts associated with fllms in which he appears Playinc opposite the star Is Merna Kennedy.
