FLAX GRADINGS.
Gradingsfor flax for November amount to 5997 bales hemp and 2100 bales tow, decreases on November, 1928, of 474 and 354 bales respectively, Gradings of hemp for last month included 228 bales good fair, 2697 bales high fair, 1959 bales low fair, and 855 bales common. Highest quantities graded were Wellington 2389 bales, Foxton: H72 bates, Auckland 1000 bales, Bluff 741 bales.
