MUNICIPAL ASSOCIATION
The quarterly meeting of the executive of the Municipal Association was held in No. 2 Committee Room, Town Hall, to-day. The Mayor of Invercargill, Mr. J. D. Campbell, presided, and there were present tho Mayors of Wellington (Mr. G. A. Troup), Auckland (Mr. G. Baildon), Feilding (Mr. 0. E. Taylor), Timaru (Mr. W. Angland), Masterton (Mr. T. Jordan), Wauganui (Mr. W. J. Rogers), and the chairmen of the Johnsonville and Ellerslio Town Boards (Mr. A. A. Moore and Mr. A. Hewson). The business transacted was mainly in connection with remits from various local bodies, for consideration at tho annual conference to be held at Invercargill early in the New Year.
