STRUCK BY CARGO TRAY

FATALITY ON KING'S AY^iARF

While engaged on the King's Wharf yesterday afternoon in loading the overseas liner Rangitiki, James David Knkwopd, aged 56, living at 151 Adelaide road, was struck by an empty cargo tray, which fell on him from a height of 40ft. Kirkwood's skull and spine were fractured. He was taken to the Hospital by the City Ambulance but he died at 6.55 p.m., two hours after his admission.
