NEW YOBK, 3rd December. Richard Brophy, former second in command of tho Byrd Expedition, staged a fake suicide at Coney Island last August with the object of getting out of sight. He dropped out all right until the editor of the "Omaha Bee" looking over Byrd Expedition pictures last week, recognised a man working on Ins staff as Cfrophy. Upon discovery Lrophy agreed to return to his sick wife in New York, but overnight he again disappeared. b
