Crown Studios, Wellington, Photo. MEMORIAL AT AWAPUNI TO THE MEDICAL CORPS.— Yesterday, at the Awapuni racecourse, Palmerston North, the Governor-General (Sir Charles Fergusson) unveiled a memorial to the men of the New Zealand Medical Corps who fell in the Great War. The photograph was taken when General R. Young was addressing the crowd present.

A FAMOUS RACE FROM A NEW ANGLE.— The finish of the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket on 30th October last, photographed from the grandstand. The winning post is on the opposite side of the course on the left of the photograph. The race was won by Double Life (J. Dines up), owned by Lady Zia Wernher, daughter of the late Grand Duke Michael. Vatout was second and Palais Royal II, third.
