TRAMWAYS BAND BAZAAR.

The Tramways Band is holding a Christmas bazaar in St. Thomas's Hall, Xewtown on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday next. The baud is in urgent need of funds to enable them to take part in the New Zealand championships in February, 1930, at Dunedin. The expenses for such a journey are heavy, and the Tramways Band, who ore now recognised as the people's popular band, make an appeal to everyone to help them tills wek by attending their bazaar, where roll-downs and other novelties will create interest in view of securing Christmas gifts. Admission is free
