AUCKLAND, This Day. lhe Australian swimmers, Noel Ryan, the middle distance champion, and Owen Griffiths, 220 yards champion of New South Wales, arrived by the Maungamii yesterday on a tour o£ New Zealand. They will make their first appearance in the tepid baths this evening, when the programme ■will include a special scratch race of 440 yards, in which Ryan, Griffiths, and G. Jiridson, the New Zealand record holder tor the distance, will compete.
