LABOUR AND LICENSING
Questioned as to his attitude to the Licensing question, Mr. Walter Nash Labour candidate for Hutt, said at Lower Hutt last night that his party jhad as one of the planks in its platform a. preferential voting clause to ensure that the decision of the majority of the people should rule. Outside that each Labour member was entitled to his own view. When the decision of the people was known, Labour would enforce the law.
