CAPITOL THEATRE, MIRAMAR.
"The Shopworn Angel," featuring, Nancy Carroll and Gary Cooper, will be shown at the Capitol to-night. It is described as a firstclass *..-talking picture. The plot tells how Daisy Heath, a chorus girl, meets Private William Tyler, who is shortly to embark on a troopship for the war. During the short time he knows her, Tyler's interest in Daisy becomes manifest, and, although she In a measure reciprocates, she is afraid to forsake the protection of a man named Bailey, a wealthy boulevardier, who has helped her on Innumerable occasions. However, she finally consents to become Tyler's wife, and tha marriage ceremony is in the act of taking place when Daisy faints, and the marriage is postponed. In the meantime, before she is well enough to carry on, Tyler gets orders to erabark for France. Subsequently events turn out In a most unexpected manner, and the. end of tho play shows a dramatic turn quite contrary to the anticipations of the audience, giving tho story a most unusual ending. Good talkie supports will also be screened.
