WORKMAN LOSES HAND
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHEISTCHTTKCH, This Day. While working in a pit at the Islington Kailway Works yesterday, George Miller, of Eiccarton, a surfaceman, had his right arm caught in the cogs of some machinery, his hand being almost torn off. Portion of the arm was amputated at the hospital.
