AERO CLUBS
A GROUPING. SCHEME
A scheme is at present under consideration for the grouping of aero clubs throughout New Zealand, for the purpose of granting subsidies and assistance Speaking to a "Post" reporter to-day, Wing-Commander GrantDalton, Director of the New Zealand Permanent Air Force and of Civil Aviation, said that so many aero clubs were springing up m the Dominion that they all could not expect to receive the subsidy of £500. In connection with the training of pilots, Auckland at present leads for the year which ends in March next with a total of 14. Hastings is well up the list with 11, including one lady pnot. _ The latter, however, does not bring a subsidy to the club.
