SHANGHAI, Ist December.
There airo indications that tho Soviet forces are not taking the war seriously. It now transpires that the town of Hailar -s«is taken by the women's battalion. Similarly, the Soviet 'planes are stub ting over the Chinese lines, dropping; cabbages and stones instead of bombs. Serious bombing, however, on .the Mastem and Western fronts has demoralised the Chinese, who are withdrawing whenever seriously menaced.
