United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Eeceived 2nd December, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Badly holed and a complete wreck, the Norwich City is ashore at Gardner Island, sis hundred miles north of Samoa.

Her S.O.S. signals were heard at Apia yesterday, and the steamer Trongate is rushing to her aid. So dangerous is her position that the crew had to abandon tho ship immediately. The Trongate was loading at" Apia on the way from New Zealand to Great Britain when the call for assistance was received.
