TEMPORARILY FINE
IMPROVEMENT IN WEATHER
Owing to the development westward of a secondary disturbance; which, crossed the Dominion on Saturday; night and Sunday morning, the weather in western districts has continued unsettled with rain in many places. In. the south of the South Island northerly, winds gave place during the week-end to southerlies, and this morning south-Wes-terly winds were fairly general. Since last night showery conditions have been the experience of most districts, but on, the East Coast qf the North Island the weather is chiefly fair.
- Moderate to strong south-westerly1 winds are forecasted to return to the north again before long, the change commencing in southern districts. A. temporary improvement in the weather is likely in most districts, but in those with a westerly aspect showers may be still expected, as also in parts of the high interior.
