ORDINATION SERVICE

An ordination service took place on Saturday in St. Paul's Pro-Oathedral, when Dr. Sprott, the Bishop of Wellington, officiated. The three deacons who were ordained as priests were:—The Eev. C. Dobbs (Hawera), Rev. W. G. Parker (St. Paul's, Wellington), and Rev. W. E. Da vies (Lower Hutt). Mr. H. E. Reynolds (Wellington) was ordained as deacon and will minister in Petone. The sermon at the ordination service was peached by Canon James.
