Announce Their Big Cash Refund Day In intimating to our customers the date of our Big Cash Refund Day, as ? dver- " tised by us in The Evening Post" of October 31st, it is needless to say that the firm naturally regrets having unwittingly and in all sincerity committed a slight technical breach of the Statute. That the scheme, however, proved a popular one is reflected in the highly satisfactory cash sales recorded with wonderful regularity on every shopping day. The actual cash sales transacted on the correct day turned out to be a very fair average,' and consequently the refund will run into a sum of considerable magnitude. This, however, will be cheerfully paid by us on production of cash sales dockets for the correct day, and we need , hardly say that it would have been a sore disappointment for us had we been forced to break faith with our customers. In thanking the public for their wonderful response to our scheme, we regret that of necessity many will have missed the winning day we are making amends for this, and during the month of December we are laying ourselves out to eclipse all our previous efforts in the interests of our customers. AH goods suitable for Christmas Gifts, of which we have a tremendous stock, will be marked at prices that will show such savings as will practically amount to a good refund on the ordinary price, and in which all are asked to participate.
