MELBOURNE, Ist December. The New South Wales men's tennis team scored an exciting win over Victoria by 11 rubbers to 10. New South Wales players are mentioned first. Crawford beat J Hawkes, 6-3, 6-3; Sproule beat F O'Hara Wood, 6-2, 0-3; Willard beat Schlesinger, 5-7, 8-6, 7-5. b Victoria won the women's contest.
