INCREASE IN AFTER-HOURS TRADING
"The Inspector of Police reports that during the past three months there has been a decided increase in after-hours trading as compared with the September quarter," said Mr. E. Page. S.M., when presiding to-day at the quarterly meeting of the Wellington Licensing Committee. It was stated that the police convictions recorded in the quarters under review were: June to September, two licensees, one barman, 26 persons found illegally on premises; September to Jecember, three licensees, two barmen, one barmaid, 41 persons found illegally on premises.
