■ LONDON, 27th November. The Kilmarnock by-election, owing to the death'of Mr. B. Climie (Lab.), resulted:—
C. M. Aitchison (Lab.) .. 18,465 Major MaeAndrew (Con.) . 13,270 Mrs. Brown (Communist) 1,448
The seat was won for Labour at the General Election, when the sitting member, Major Mac Andrew (C), was defeated, the figures being: Eobert Climie (Lab.), 17,368; Major Mac Andrew (C), 10,939,; J. B. Bntherford (L.), 7700.
