SHORTT'S THEATRE.
In "Xcd M'Cobb's Daughter," which Is now beine shown at Shortt's Theatre, Irene Rich lias the role o£ an unhappily married young the wife of a former convict, who beeps a restaurant on the coast of Maine. Her husband steals £400 from a transportation company, and when his crime is revealed she obtains £400 from a bootlegger to prevent her husband's arrest. The bootlegger makes her home the base of his hum-running operations, and this leads up to a series of thrilling events which make the picture outstanding as a screen entertainment. There is a good sup» porting programme.
