DOMINION COUNCIL MEETS

CHRISTCHUECH, This Day.
At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Swimming Council, the following officers were elected: —President, Mr. W. E. D. Bishop; deputy president, Mr. A. B. Jacobsen; North Island representative, Mr. P. Coira. The standing committees were re-elected.
A cablegram was received from New South, Wales stating that Messrs. Jean Cocks and Edna Davey had accepted an,invitation to visit New . Zealand. The appointment of a chaperone was being arranged. N. Ryan and O. Griffiths - were leaving to-day for New Zealand..
