OVER 16,000 "ELECTORS

The number of electors on the roll in the Hutt electorate for the General Election and who were entitled to vote then was 14,898. Since then, a special supplementary roll (No. 2) has been and the number of electors on this roll is 2156. Removals to other districts and deaths have resulted in 683 names being removed from the roll, and this leaves the number entitled to vote at the -by-election at 16,371. Since the General Election 500 electors have changed their addresses withiu the electorate.
