NARROW ESCAPE
GAU'S STKANGE BEHAVIOUR
bv^M 1' TOT aUt ~of a "Krfowar driven by Mr. \Vilham o'Nei], of Sydney street, intone, had a remarkable escape from Uoing seriously injured when the car capsized and completed a somersault on the mam road through Heretaunga on Sunday night. The car was being driven towards ■l-iower Hutt, and when attempting to pass a bua Mr. O'Neil lost control After travelling for about 270 yards on the wron" side of the road, the ear shot across to the other side, and after somersaulting landed on the pavement on its wheels J.ne body of the car,' which was almost new, was completely wrecked. As passengers, Mr. O'Neil had with him his wife, a son aged 7, arid another boy Arnold Clifton, also aged 7. All received minor injuries, but after being attended to by Drs. Tweed and Kemp, were able to go home.
