In connection with the repayment of this Loan, the Council proposes to establish a Sinking Fund of not less than £1 10s per centum per annum, and that the term of the Loan will. not exceed* 30 years. The Council proposes to pledge as security for this Loan and the interest and Sinking Fund thereon a special rate of 12/25 , in the £ on the rateable value, on the ■ basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Upper Hutt. HUTT BOROUGH •*- COUNCIL hereby gives Public Notice that it proposes to raise a Special Loan of £10,000 (the sanction of the Local Government Loans Board having been obtained to the Loan) for the purpose of replacing existing 1% inch mains with 4 inch mains and providing 6 inch feeder mams where required in the Eastern Ward of the Borough. The Council proposes to pledge a Special Rate 1 5-8 din the £ on the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property in Special Rating Area No. 5 as security for this loan and the interest and sinking fund thereon. The Special Rating Area No. 5 is described and delineated on a plan deposited at the Office of the Upper Hutt Borough Council. In connection with the repayment of this loan the Council proposes to establish a sinking fund of not less than £3 per centum per annum, and that the term pi the loan shall not exceed 20 years. PROPOSED SPECIAL LOAN OF £3500. rpHE UPPER HUTT BOROUGH _•*■ COUNCIL hereby gives public notice that it proposes to raise a Special Loan of £3500 (the sanction of the Local Government Loans Board having been obtained to the raising of the loan) for the purposes of carrying out the undermentioned works:— Erecting a new Fire Station. Purchasing a Fire Engine. Installing a Fire Alarm System. The Council proposes to pledge a Special Rate of 5-16 in the £ on the rateable value, on the basis of the Unimproved Value of all rateable property in the Borough of Upper Hutt •as security for this loan and the interest and sinking fund thereon. In connection with the repayment of this loan the Council proposes to establish a Sinking Fond of not less than three per centum per annum in respect of the sum of £1000 calculated on the amount raised and a Sinking Fund of not less than £1 per centum per annum in respect of the sum of £2500 calculated on the amount raised. It is proposed in connection with the above Special Loan that the sum of £1000 shall be repayable within 20 years, and the sum of £2500 shall be repayable within 36% years commencing from Ist April, 1929. It is proposed to pay the cost of raising the loan out of the loan moneys, but no portion of interest or sinking fund. Dated at Upper Hutt this 20th day of November, 1929. W. J.
