FATAL MOTOR CRASH
DRIVER ACQUITTED
(Eeceived 27th November, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day.
In the Criminal Court, Percy Spittlehouse, 31, charged with manslaughter, was acquitted and discharged. The case arose out of a motor-lorry accident on 11th August, when two persons were killed at Newtown.
Spittlehouse lost control of his lorry which mounted the kerb, killed outright a boy and an old man and injured several other persons.
