CHEISTCHURCH, This Day, '•■. Tho Management Committee of: the. New Zealand Cricket Council has acceded to a cabled request from A. H. Gilligan, captain of the M.C.C. team, that E. H. Bowley shall be allowed to leave Sydney for New Zealand this week so that he may receive treatment at Rotorua for sciatica. This, it is hoped, ■will make Bowley fit to rejoin the team as soon as it arrives in the Dominion.
