The professional welter boxing contest between Artie Hay, Hastings, New Zealand welterweight and middleweight champion (list), and Billy Thomas, Wales (lOst 131b), to-night ended in the eleventh round, Hay being disqualified for throwing his opponent to the mat. Thomas landed heavily on the back of his head It was a lively contest, Hay being well ahead.on points at tho time of the foul -Uioraas was down three times in the ninth for counts of four, seven, and seven. . - '
