Although the entries for the Royal ShoTv., to be held' here next month, have not yet officially closed, it is reported that splendid patronage has already been received from the North Island and that indications are that the record for a local fixture will be considerably exceeded.

The special committee in charge of the accommodation arrangements met to-night, when it was announced that the demand for accommodation had been extremely heavy.
