Mr. W. G. Walter has relieved Mr. T. Swede as chief engineer of the Holmdale, and bis plapo as second engineer on the Inaha has been taken by Mr. A. Campbell.
ROAPEHU'S PASSENGERS.

ALTERATIONS TO TORY CHANNEL LIGHTS.
The fixed leading beacons situated about one mile north-westward of the eastern entrance to Tory Channel will be altered to automatic occulting during January, 1930. It is also intended to install an automatic group flashing light on the summit of West Head at the western side of the eastern entrance to Tory Channel in January.
PORT HUNTER DELAYED.
The rain of the past two days has delayed the loading of the Port Hunter, and she will not leave for London until Friday morning.
