HOWARD LEAGUE MEETING.
A meeting c£ the New Zealand Howard League for Penal Reform (Wellington branch) will be held in the N.Z.E.I. Club Rooms, The Terrace, to-morrow night, 2Sth inst., at 8 o'clock, when the speaker will be Dr. I. L. G. Sutherland, of Victoria College, who has just returned from the Psychological Conference in America. Dr. Sutherland has gained much interesting information in regard to research work in Criminal Psychology, and a cordial invitation is extended to all who are interested to hear his impressions of what is being done for penal reform in the United States.
