PARAMOUNT THEATRE.

Now in its second week at the Paramount Theatre Is "The Terror," the aU-talklng screen Version of the popular Edgar Wallace play. An all-star .cast Includes May M'Avoy, Louise Fazenda, Edward Everett Horton, and Alec'B. Francis. The locale is a dilapidated manor house occupied by an aged doctor. His daughter Olga lives with him—and his Jater guests make up a heltor-akclter of humanity scarcely ever seen outside the wall 3of a mad-house. Humour has it that the vast loot secured by a bank robbery is secreted in the house, and that tho thief Is also hidden there. Pandemonium breaks loose when crooks, cops, hysterical ladles, and the reel are hounded by a fearful cloaked monster, known as "The Terror." The creepy, laughable, Inexplicable happenings keep the audience spellbound. Good supports aro also screoned.

"The Three Mucketoers" of murder mystery pictures will bo seen again at the Paramount Theatre, commencing noxt Friday, when "The Greene Murder Case," a Paramount all-dia-logue mystery thriller, will be presented. This trio is William Powell, E. H. Calvcrt, and Eugene Pallette, who so successfully cleared up the mystery in. "The Canary Murder Case " Powell is the detective, Calvert is the district attorney of New York City who has confidence In Powell, and Palletto Is tho practical-minded Sergeant Heath. In "The Greene Murder Casa" three persons are killed and the number of suspects is even greater than in "The Canary Murder." With these three celebrities of the screen are fourteen supporting actors every one of-whom has had prolonged stage or movie experience. They are Florence Eldridge, Ullrich Haupt, Jean Arthur, Gertrude Norman, Lowell Drew, Morgan Farley, and Brandon Hurst. "The Greene Murder Case" is the plcturisation of the famous novel of the same name by the renowned author of mystery stories, S. S. Van Dine.
