A skilful combination ■of action and ro mance affords audiences at SUortt's Theatre with a fine tale 6f adventuro in Tim M'Coy's latest production, "The Desert Eider" It is an original story, the tlieme of which revolves about.the struggle of the early white settlers during the ratification. of the Spanish land deeds. A gallant pony express rider is robbed of a land deed which forces a beautiful cirl on the mercy of a friendly Mission, but the rider frustrates the thieves In the end Racquel Torres is also in tho cast. Harrison Ford and Marie Prevost make merry in a sparkling comedy, "A Blonde .for Choice."
