The Railway Department advertise train arrangements and cheap fares to Feilding in connection with the race meeting on Saturday and Monday next. The excursion tickets will be issued from Wellington only by the Daylight Limited (7.52 a.m.) each day.
The twenty-fourth annual meeting of the Discharged Prisoners' Aid Society will be held in Mr. Page's room, Magistrate's Court, on Thursday afternoon. The annual report will be. submitted, and the election of officers for the year will be part of the business of the meeting. '
