ACQUITTAL OF MURDER

SYDNEY, 25th November,

At the Criminal Court to-day, Ada Bondfield, aged forty, was presented on a charge of murdering' her husband, a school teachor, by poisoning at Michelago'. At the conclusion of the Crown case Mr. Justice Halse Rogers directed the jury to acquit tho woman, who was found not guilty and discharged.

Tho body of Alec Bondfield was exhumed by tho police on Oth August at Michelago, near Queanbeean. A bottle containing strychnine was stated to havo been found in his yard, and detectives traced purchases of poison from chemists.
