NEW QUALITY THEATRE.
V-ilma Banky comes into her own in "The Awakening," which opens at the New Quality Theatre to-night. The pleasing-promise of all her previous pictures has finally been fulfilled. Now starred In her own right for the first time, equipped with an unusual and moving vehicle, she becomes one of the leading emotional actresses of the screen. "Marie," a new song from the hand of the popular melody master, Irving Berlin, and written In tribute to Miss Banky's role in "The Awakening," is effectively used in its many episodes. There is a supporting programme of talkies.
