LEVIN CUP WINNER.— Mrs. E. Elgar's Talisker, winner of the Levin Cup on Saturday afternoon, after a close finish in which he beat Mountain Heath by half a head.

H. R. PEARCE, champion sculler of New South Wales, who created a new World's record on Saturday.

CAPTAIN V. W. HICKSON, White Star master, who is retiring. He was well-known in wartime as a commander of transports.
