Surprise was occasioned when it was known that the Air Inquiry Committee would resume sitting .to-day. It was officially announced last Friday that the inquiry was closed. During the weekend, however, it was ascertained by the Federal Crown Solicitor's Department that fresh evidence of an important character had become available.
