CONVENTION TO BE RATIFIED

RUGBY, 11th June. At the meeting of the International Labour Conference at Geneva thiß morning, Mr. Wolfe, the British Government representative, said that he was authorised to state that the British Government intended to proceed at the earliest possible moment with the ratification of the Washington Eight Hour Convention. The British Government intends also to ratify the International Convention on Minimum Wages and Seamen's Agreement.
