Tourist trafiie brought .250,501,000 dollars into Canada in 1928, according to the estimate of the Dominion Bureau an advance of nearly 35,----000,000 dollars over the preceding year. The increase was largely due to a heavier influx from the United States of motorists. Expenditures by Canadian tourists in other countries were slightly decreased in 1928.
