Further, your contributor would make it appear that the recent slight improvement in the condition'of the Hutt road cycle track was entirely due to the efforts of the Port Nicholson Cycling Club Any. ~ one who has. followed cycUn e matters ia Wellington for the last few years knows that the C.T.C. has been most tenacious tn its demands to have the track improv* ed, and that no reason exists for giving sole credit to the Port Nicholson Cycling Club. .-.-'.'.

I would like to make it perfectly dear that I am a staunch supporter of the Port Nicholson Cycling Club, being, indeed, *' vice-president, and that the most cordial relations exist between that organisation and the Cyclists' Touring Club. Apparently, however, your cycling contributor is unaware of the circumstances. I am* etc., . '
