"Revenge," a Dolores Del Kio picture, is being shown at tho Strand Theatre. The theme of the Bercovlci story, "The Bear Tamer's Daughter," offered a new outlet for Miss Del Kio's varied talents. Carewe purchased the story from liercovicl and commissioned Finis Fox to write a scenario around tho Idea so as to take full advantage of Miss Del Hio'3 versatility. fox, who had written two former stories Tor the Mexican star, knew her needs and immediately set ilimself upon the tasli of writing a colourlul story of gipsy lure. The result Is ' Revenge " produced and directed by Carewe tor United Artists with Miss Del Uio in ■ the Hery role of "Rascha, tho gipsy queen of bear tamers. Good supports are screened, ami there is appropriate music.
