CimiSTCHURCH,' This Day. At.':i mooting -of the General Committee of the Canterbury Rugby Union last night tho chairman, Mr.' M'Phail, said that the union had had a good year financially, over £1000 being handed to the trustees.
A circular letter was received, from the New Zealand Rugby Union: suggesting that the union should "submit a list of probable fixtures and '. tours so that matters might be arranged with a view to saving time " and gaining convenience. Mr. S. AVilson was authorised to go into the question.
