FARTHING FOR LIBEL
RESULT OF £20,000 CLAIM
(United Press Association.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, 13th December. In the libel action in which' Silas Young Maling claimed £20,000 damages from the "Sunday News," the jury returned a verdict for the plaintiff and awarded damages ono farthing.
The plaintiff is deputy-general manager of the electricity department of the Sydney City Council, and tho action arose out of a series of articles dealing with Town Hall administration.
